I think I’ve gotten the Honda bug…the old school Honda bug. I remember all the cars from the mid to late 90′s and how they looked. It’s the same thing that I’ve been trying to get done with my Accord.

So here’s a couple of older Hondas that I’ve gotten excited about…of course they’d be scanned photos.

The 49ers

The very first game I ever went to was a pre-season game against KC. My dad took. I can’t tell you who won, but I will tell you that the 49ers have been my team.

With the sudden success, it’s amazing to reflect on how a simple football team collects my family in a weird bonding experience. So, yes…we were there for the NFC divisional win against the Saints, and yes we will be there when we take on the Giants. GOD SPEED.

This is by far one of the coolest Foxbody Mustangs I’ve ever seen. I’ve always preferred the LX Notch to the GT’s, so that probably plays a role in my trouser banana with this car.

On a whim

So I went to Southern California on a whim. I was trying to go during an upcoming 3 day, school weekend, but I couldn’t get time off. I miss having a camera, but these should do. Good times and met some awesome people. Can’t wait to go again.

Took the 101 then hopped onto the 154 for a more scenic route.

Grad audit?

So I guess I might graduate soon?

I’ve been getting a bunch of emails about graduation audit. Obviously, this peaked my curiosity. I went ahead and double checked my academic progress. Sure enough, I have hit the single digits as far as requirements are concerned.

I have no idea what the hell I’m doing, or what I am going to do.

An Interesting Relationship

A long time ago, I pretended to sell my car. The only reason why I did this was because I was tired of everyone bugging me about finishing the car or selling it. Now that the cat is out of the bag, I’ve been able to get the car running and pieced together.

Given that it is now a running car, there is now pressure to sell it and move on. This has come from all sorts of sources. To be honest, I cannot part with this car, not right now, not anytime soon. I’ve had the car for almost five years now, I’ve busted knuckles, and gone through back pains…hell, I even have a scar above my right eyebrow from dropping a transmission mount on my face. I drove this car when I was stressed, and in turn it made me smile. I know that we are not supposed to have personal attachments to inanimate objects, but I’d argue that this car has a soul of its own.

Now that the car is running, I’ve been meaning to formally thank those who have helped me button the car up.

AJ for coming over countless times to figure out wiring
Chris for helping me put the motor in and sort out exhaust fitment
Keith for helping clean out the bay, organize the wiring, and also put the motor in

If it wasn’t for the help from these dudes, I probably would still have a shell in my parents’ garage collecting dust. I’ve expressed interest in other projects, but there is still more to be done on this car. Let it be known, this thing isn’t going anywhere for a long time.
I can’t wait to get back out there and enjoy my car.
