There’s a difference between guys into cars and car guys.
I can identify with this guy. I haven’t had my car running in two and a half years, and every time I threaten to sell it, I know I won’t be able to have the heart to do so.

Japan is in need. I know that many of my entries hint at my enthusiasm for cars, so that means there’s a handful of people on here who follow me that are also into cars.
One of my really good friends, Yuta Akaishi, is doing a good thing. You may recognize his name as he is the owner of “that” 240z. He is making stickers in support of Japan. $5, and every single penny is going to Japan. More info is available on his page.
Show support for a good cause, it’s all I can ask
There’s a band from the PNW that has me excited about hardcore and Straight Edge again…not that I wasn’t before, but you know how it goes. That band is Not Sorry. I had the chance to see these guys recently at Gilman, and holy hell was it awesome.
Their new 7″, Our Choices, is one of the better pieces of music I’ve heard in a long time. It’s angry, its fast, and its conscious of the world at large. I feel that often times, hardcore lyrics are plagued with close minded thoughts, calling to mind only what matters within the scene. However, Not Sorry shakes that stereotype and does so very well. I can’t wait to see them again and am anticipating more music from these dudes.

Whoops.
And this poor guy is no longer around. Thanks white Macbook…it’s been real.
I’m not sure if I can talk about it, but let’s just say there was a fire at my place and things went down. You can talk to me directly if you’d like to know what happened…or didn’t happen.
Safe,
Gabe
I don’t know what it is about these cars. It’s probably because my grandfather had one and it was the first car I saw with a manual gear box. Or the fact that going back to the Philippines, you’re guaranteed to see tasteful examples of these cars. Whatever it is, I’ve owned two of these, one of which was the GTS with the high-revving, oil leaking, 4AG.
Logging into TN to lurk a bit, I found this. My grandpa had a silver sedan as well, so seeing this, I got pretty stoked.
I’m almost sure that I am a fan because of the whole BBS + VW thing…regardless, this thing is bad ass.
Welcome to Belmont.

I am enjoying my new place, other than the hotel-like feel. Other than that, I’m glad to be on this side of the Bay.
